San Juan

One of the most interesting parts of San Juan Puerto Rico for visitors to see and explore is Old San Juan. There are many points of interest in Old San Juan including cobblestone streets, shops and restaurants, the historic forts built hundreds of years ago, Paseo de la Princesa walkway, different plazas such as the town square Plaza de Armas, Plaza de San Jose with a statue of Ponce de León, the Plaza de Colón with a statue of Christopher Columbus, performing arts at the Tapia Theater, the San Juan Gate, the Capitol Building of Puerto Rico, different museums, and much more. Another popular section in the San Juan area for tourists is the Condado area with beaches on the Atlantic Ocean, hotels, resorts, and other lodging options, condominiums, restaurants, nightlife, gaming, shops, water sports, and more. Some other well known and popular beach areas are Isla Verde and Ocean Park.
